Kellie Pickler Returns to the Stage for First Time Since Husband’s Death: ‘I Know He Is Here’

For the first time since the death of her husband last year, Kellie Pickler returned to the stage Monday night to perform at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium for a tribute concert to Patsy Cline. “I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was not incredibly nervous right now,” Pickler said when she hit the stage. “It’s the first time I’ve been up on stage in a while.” Kyle Jacobs, a songwriter/producer and Pickler’s husband of 12 years, died by suicide in February 2023. He was 49 years old. Trending on Billboard On Monday night, according to a TikTok video posted by Music Mayhem magazine, Pickler performed her song “The Woman I Am,” from her 2013 album of the same name, which she co-wrote with Jacobs. “My husband and I actually wrote this song together, gosh, over a decade ago,” Pickler said onstage. “The last time I was here in the Ryman Auditorium was with him on a date night, and I know he is here with us tonight.” Watch Pickler’s return to the stage below: Jacobs’ songwriting credits included Garth Brooks’ Hot Country Songs chart-topper “More Than a Memory,” as well as songs recorded by Trace Adkins, Clay Walker and more. Jacobs also produced several Lee Brice hits, including “I Drive Your Truck,” “Hard to Love,” “Rumor” and “Drinking Class,” and was a producer on Brice’s 2020 album Hey World. Jacobs and Pickler got married in January 2011 and previously starred together on the reality show I Love Kellie Pickler. Pickler competed on American Idol in 2006 and finished in sixth place, later earning a Country Airplay top 10 hit with “Best Days of Your Life.” Pickler broke her silence following Jacobs’ death in a statement to People magazine last August, writing: “One of the most beautiful lessons my husband taught me was in a moment of a crisis, if you don’t know what to do, ‘Do nothing, just be still.’ I have chosen to heed his advice.” If you’re thinking about suicide, or are worried about a friend or loved one, contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, available 24 hours, at 988.

It’s Fuerza Regida’s Turn: ‘Pa Las Baby’s y Belikeada’ Hits No. 1 on Top Latin Albums

Fuerza Regida celebrates its first No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums, as its seventh studio release Pa Las Baby’s y Belikeada, climbs 2-1 to lead the April 27-dated ranking. Pa Las Baby’s y Belikeada ascends to No. 1 with 24,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending April 18 (up 17%), according to Luminate, almost entirely driven by streaming activity (up 17% in streaming equivalent album units, equaling 36.06 million on-demand official streams for the set’s songs during the tracking week). Top Latin Albums ranks the most popular Latin albums of the week by multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each units equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. Trending on Billboard The 30-track set, released via Oct. 20 via Street Mob/Rancho Humilde/Sony Music Latin, visits the penthouse for the first time on Top Latin Albums in its 26th week. That is the longest climb to No. 1 since the Oct. 10, 2015-dated chart, when Juan Gabriel’s Mis Numero 1… 40 Aniversario rose 4-1 in its 60th week. Pa Las Baby’s y Belikeada debuted at No. 2 on the Nov. 4, 2023, chart and has never departed the top five. Notably, Pa Las Baby’s y Belikeada becomes only the fifth regional Mexican album to lead Top Latin Albums this decade; all one-week rulers except for Peso Pluma’s Génesis, which has dominated for 28 non-consecutive weeks. Let’s look at those No. 1 albums since 2020: Artist, Title, Peak Date, Weeks at No. 1Alejandro Fernández, Hecho En México, Feb. 2020, oneEslabon Armado, Vibras de Noche, Aug. 1, 2020, oneEslabon Armado, Desvelado, May 13, 2023, onePeso Pluma, Génesis, July 8, 2023, 28Fuerza Regida, Pa Las Baby’s y Belikeada, April 27 Pa Las Baby’s y Belikeada also rebounds to No. 1 for its second week atop Regional Mexican Albums, where it launched at the summit last November. Fuerza Regida’s new Top Latin Albums coronation arrives a week after the group announced its 37-date U.S. and Mexico summer arena tour, Pero No Te Enamores, will kick off June 6 in Austin, Texas. The news perhaps ignited similar gains for two other Fuerza Regida efforts on Top Latin Albums: streaming activity drives Dolido Pero No Arrepentido (EP) to its No. 5 peak with an 18% gain, to 13,000 units (essentially all from SEA units), a figure that equates to 19.35 million on-demand official streams registered for its songs during the same period. Pa Que Hablen.: I., meanwhile, jumps 22-20 — after its No. 3 peak in April 2023 — likewise through streaming movement. The album generated 5,000 units (effectively all from streams), up 9%, which equals to 8.4 million streams in the U.S. Beyond this weekly slate of Fuerza Regida’s albums gains, the San Bernardino, Calif. group, also expands on a song level. Eight entries on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, which combines airplay, streams, and downloads, move ahead boosted by streaming growth, starting with “Tu Name” which rises 4-3, led by with 8.8 million on-demand official streams, up 14%. “Crazyz,” meanwhile, logs the biggest streaming percentage gain out of the eight, with a 44% growth, to 4.5 million.

5 Reusable Sticky Bras & Nipple Covers to Buy for Strapless, Backless & See-Through Outfits

All products and services featured are independently chosen by editors. However, Billboard may receive a commission on orders placed through its retail links, and the retailer may receive certain auditable data for accounting purposes. The weather is getting warmer, and some of us can’t help but show off a little skin. If you fall in that category and plan to go strapless, backless or sheer for spring and summer, you’ll need some extra coverage. Explore Explore See latest videos, charts and news See latest videos, charts and news Sticky bras and reusable nipple covers provide added coverage (usually more than most pasties) for busts of all sizes, plus they’re easy to pop on and off, whereas strapless bras can be complicated to maneuver and tend to slide down. Trending on Billboard Personally, I prefer nipple covers over sticky bras, but in the interest of providing you with a variety of options, we’ve rounded up a handful off bestselling, reusable stick-on bras and nipple covers available at Amazon, Walmart and other retailers. See more below. Amazon Nippies Nipple Cover – Sticky Adhesive Silicone Nipple Pasties Topping the list are Nippies Nipple Covers. These bestselling, reusable nipple covers are No. 1 at Amazon with over 30,000 customer ratings and a 4.5 out of stars. The nipple covers provide all-day coverage with super-hold adhesive. They’re available in sizes small (for A-C cups) and large (for D+ cups) in five different shades including caramel, coco, crème, espresso and hazelnut. “Life-changing nip wizardry,” one excited shopper wrote on Amazon. “These magical circles of wonder have transformed my wardrobe game and saved me from countless wardrobe malfunctions. Move over, regular bras – sticky nipple covers are here to steal the show!” Another shopper added, “The first thing I do when I get home and settle in for the evening is take off my shoes and my bra. Bras are torture devices. And I’m not even large breasted! But I don’t want to be all nipply so these are the perfect solution. They offer no support, they just hide the headlight effect. They are washable, reusable, lightweight and are invisible under clothes. Just the right amount of stickiness to adhere to skin. I think they’re great.” Revolve Perkies Petals Nipple Covers Perkies Petals has been a favorite of mine for more than a year now. I’ve tested them out in all cold, cool and extremely hot climates and at different times of year (summer through spring) and they always hold up. “A must have! Wore these with a sheer-ish formal dress and they were absolutely perfect,” wrote one satisfied shopper. “I felt confident and covered all night. I will 100% be bringing them with me on every trip.. clean, supportive, and comes with a travel case! As essential as sunscreen!” The reusable, silicone nipple covers are available in light, medium and dark nude and can be worn for up to 8 hours at a time (they’ll even stay put in sweltering heat). Perkies donates five percent of its sales to Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Amazon Wingslove Adhesive Bra Reusable Strapless Self Silicone Push-up Invisible Sticky Bras for Backless Dress (Beige,A) Wingslove is another brand that we’ve tested, and a top-seller at Amazon. This is a decent choice if you’re looking for a budget adhesive bra, but it’s not going to last you in the long run. On the plus side, Wingslove bras are easy to take off and they’re available in 10 shades including beige, black, brown, coco, coffee, nude and pink/orange.   The Alki’I Adhesive Push Up Bra is another Amazon find under $20. It’s available in sizes A-F and provides nipple coverage and lift. Nood Lovenood Game Changer Life & Shape Bra Celebrating Earth Month? Nood’s Game Changer Life & Shape Bra is an eco-friendly, shape bra designed for every size – even up to DDD/G+.
